Vintage Japanese kimono cloth creates a burst of sophistication and color to any wardrobe. These bags are uniquely created using as many as 4 different kimono fabrics. The eyepillows are made from dupioni silk with an appliqued strip of kimono cloth on top.
Three quilts are patterned on crib quilts bought by Ruth for her three children at their births in 1968, 1971, and 1975. The Freedom Trail quilt was bought in 1968. It was made in Alabama by a Freedom Cooperative ad part of the quest for Civil rights. The Bright Blocks quilt was handmade and bought in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. in 1971. The Animal Antics quilt was handmade and bought in Newtown, Pa., in 1978.
