Ruth Bourns opened Tupelo Studio in a renovated cottage behind her Westport, Massachusetts home in 2000. This venture made real a life long dream of creating beautiful things with needle and thread.
Using silk, velvet, wool, linen, cotton, and Japanese kimono cloth, this collection features handcrafted heirloom crib quilts and wall hangings as well as women’s accessories. The accessories include jackets, shoulder bags, jewelry pouches, belts, scarves, eye pillows, and eyeglass cases.
A crib quilt for a new baby, a silk jewelry pouch for a special friend, or a new personal bag or belt to update your wardrobe are all available from Tupelo Studio.
