Stitching DetailCrib Quilts

Ruth was inspired to begin making and selling these quilts by the crib quilts she bought for her own children in 1969, 1971, and 1975. These three original quilts are still in her possession, waiting for her children to use them as heirlooms for their children. The quilts are Freedom Trail, originally made by a Freedom Cooperative in Alabama during the civil rights struggles, Bright Blocks, and Animal Antics. Ruth’s handmade quilts are made to become heirlooms, lasting for many years.
